Samsung Agree to Pay $548 Million to Apple For Copying iPhone Design



Finally Samsung agrees to pay $548 million to Apple for copying (Stealing) iPhone design and concept after Apple won the infringement suit against iPhone-Galaxy patent controversy on 3rd December. The US-based Apple company knocked the back door of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California to sued Samsung against the patent right.

Samsung said it has made arrangements to fulfill the damages worth of $548,176,477. The payment process will be made after Korean company receive an Invoice officially from Apple to Samsung headquarter Korea. After patent suit won by Apple on 3rd of December and next very day Samsung agrees to pay the reasonable damages, the another part of the damages will be made next year.

However the cases starter from the year 2012 – in which Apple already started production of iPhone series from 2007 and realize that Samsung is copying its iPhone design and so on Apple on 2012 filed a case against Korean company Samsung. The US-based Apple company knocked the back door of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California to sued Samsung against the patent right.

And now Samsung has to pay $548 million but insider story says that Samsung might have given $2.5 billion in the first call of damage but after certain appeal from Samsung it fall to $1 billion and then again Samsung call for another litigation which diminish to $930 million and then at the deep down it was $548 million.

As per the officials from Apple Insider, previous report charge sheet claims that Samsung a lot lookalike iPhone concept and design soon after iPhone released it the first series of iPhone in 2007 Samsung also changed its design to identical iPhone in 2008 itself which bought Samsung to US federal court. Soon after the case registered in 2012 Samsung to show off that they are not copying Apple concept and design it launched upgraded flagship Galaxy S6 Edge and then followed by S6 Edge Plus, both are similar but having more authenticated design from iPhone series.
